  FEEDBACK

Hi there

My name is Richard and I have been selling your Stonebridge guitars in the UK since their arrival a couple of years ago. I have worked hand in hand with your wonderful UK supplier Sutherland (via Keith Twine).

I would like to thank you on so many levels.

1. For chosing a supplier who puts so much energy into working with dealers as a team - who supports their dealer base and values their dealers input.

2. For producing an instrument that I love with such passion. I love them so much I feel saddened when the guitar leaves the store - each one feels like a member of the family. I do not know how you do it but my views are shared by each and every guitarist who ever has the budget to afford one. One day someone will buck the trend but your guitars clearly have something incredibly special and I would like to thank you dearly for making my life selling guitars so enjoyable and worthwhile.

One final point.... PLEASE do not sell you soul and grow too big. PLEASE do not become another Taylor. I just hope your passion for the product stops you from destroying it in the long term. So many businesses fall victim to the evil ???? (I don't have a euro symbol on my pc!!).

Anyhow. One day I would love to visit and see how these guitars are born into the World. In the mean time thank you once again.

Best Regards

Richard Cholerton

Hi there all personal at Furch!

Just wanted to send you some word of appreciation for your guitars.
The love affair to a Furch Durango started for about 4,5 years ago. After I
played numerous of guitar, Fender, Martin, Cort etc I got the Durango in my
hands. Instant love! At this time I was a poor student, so I consider to try
to make a run from the shop, but I manage to stop those thoughts.
So 3 years later and I work as a engineer and for the first pay check I went
to the shop and ordered a Durango. After weeks of waiting I finally got it.
So rich, so elegant, so beautiful, such a wonderful sound and it still today
smells great! =)

I wont hesitate to buy more of your guitars.

Best of regards!

Hello

I just wanted to send a quick email to say how pleased I am to have just bought a 33 SR. I went out to buy a quality acoustic and tried about 15-20 guitars in one afternoon including many M guitars (very knowny brand! - censored by Furch) costing up to ?2,500. However, in Macari's shop in Central London the assistant insisted I try a Stonebridge. I had always dreamed of the moment when you pick up a new guitar and play one chord and instinctively know it is a special guitar. I had that moment with the 33 SR. For such quality the ?1,000 I paid seems amazing and it wiped the floor with the M (very knowny brand! - censored by Furch) I tried. The width of sound is breathtaking and it rings from bottom to top E without any imbalance in tone or resonance. A stunningly made guitar and one I am sure I will enjoy playing for the rest of my life.

Also, do you have any plans to make a 12-string and do you make any Stonebridge merchandise (such as t-shirts, straps)? For the future it would also be good to know where to get replacement guitar pegs.

Thank you again for making such a beautiful instrument, keep up the good work.

Kind regards,

Paul Cook

Thank you to all who work at Furch,
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am from the United States and recently purchased a Stonebridge GS-23-CR # 27554 and love it!!!! The tone is absolutely the best. You can't even compare it to M or T (very knowny brands! - censored by Furch) that were made on an assembly line. The sound is amazing. Intonation on every fret including barre chords. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I cannot wait till these guitars take off in the US and I will do everything I can to help. Thank you for making such a great guitar.

Sincerely,

Preston Morris

Dear Furch people,

Last week I've bought myself a D-20 CM (Cedar/Mahogany, 2006 model) and I must say I'm totally blown away by the sound, everytime I play this guitar! I can't get my hands of it...

I strung it with Elixir Nanoweb 0.012 strings and the sound is VERY CLEAR, with unique ringing highs and deep, but tight lows! I tried a lot of high end guitars before buying this one, but the Furch D-20 was the clearest sounding and best playing guitar I could find in the shop! I played everything from Lw, T, Lar, Blr, Lkw, Y to M etc... (knowny and very knowny brands! - censored by Furch)

The quality of the woods and construction is exceptional for this model!

Thanks Furch/Czech Republic for making real QUALITY acoustic guitars!

Yamgi.

Dear Furch,

Many, many thanks for making such great instruments!

Today I fell in love with the Furch D-42 CR from the first touch...
The guitar looks great and it plays like a dream with 0.012 strings.
It's the best guitar I've ever had for fingerstyle and I really enjoy the quality sound of the cedar top.

I've tried MANY guitars over the years, including M, T, Tak, Lar, Blr etc. (knowny and very knowny brands! - censored by Furch) but the Furch beats them all in my opinion. With the Furch D-42 I always get great, sparkly highs and deep lows and it plays like an electric (without any fret buzz, just amazing!).

Thanks for making the best and most beautiful guitars on the market today.

Kind regards,
Bram.

Hi!
I wanted tell you and give thanks for your wouderful intruments. I got stuck one day with my old acoustic and decided that I would have to get a new one. So one Saturday I went around EVERY music store in Stockholm and tried EVERY acoustic I could find, no matter what the cost. And then suddenly, there it was, after a long hard day and sore fingers, the OM 32 SM. Although rosewood is a more expencive and more sought after material, the tight sound of the mahogany fitted me and my songs like a glove. In my eyes and needs the intruments shines of perfection, both in feel and sound and details. With a modern pickup system it's the old meets the future in a guitar that will definitly stand the test of time, atleast in my book. Beeing a fingerstyle player this a dream come true.

Yours truly

Hi i am 19 and was very very lucky to get a Stonebridge OMS 22 - SR as a christmas/birthday present from my parents. I may not know to much about great guitars but i know a great sounding guitar when i hear one. This Stonebridge has the most amazing sound and looks. I play in a band called Cuba Cuba. We have a very modern sound but a lot of the music is compsed on my Stonebridge now including our new song that is up on myspace. Feel free to check it out at www.myspace.com/cubacubamusic. I think this shows that Stonebridge guitars can appeal to even the youngest generation of guitar players which i hope you would agree is very important. Thankyou Stonebridge!

Hello,

I am just mailing to say thank you. I recently bought a Furch Durango D40CM, and each time I pick up this guitar I am amazed by the sound and ease of playing it. I am in love with it! I now have so much more fun playing, and all my songs sounds twice as good as before.
So well, I just want to compliment you on building these great guitars. Furch is now my favorite guitar brand, and when I buy another guitar in the future Furch will be my first choice...

To all at Furch,

I have recently purchased a G.40.CM from Regent Gutars in Leamington England and I would just like to let you all know that it is an absolute delight to play. I played a number of guitars in the shop including a more expensive model made by your company but the G.40.CM just did it for me. The build quality is exceptional, the sound quite amazing and it is a joy to look at.

Thanks again to you all and I wish you every success in the future.

Sincerely

To the dear people at Furch
I am writing regarding the Stonebridge guitar I have recently bought.
I am from Wales in the U.K. and am 55 years of age.
I have been playing acoustic guitars for fun for over 40 years and have recently been looking for a 'great' guitar to last me till 'I meet the great guitarist in the sky'.
I found it at Cardiff Guitars in the shape of the G.40.CM
I had read many reviews on the internet and was going round the local guitar shops trying guitar out and was willing to spend up to ?2,000.
I tried all makes and models including Martins, Taylors and Takimines and had fully expected I would buy one of these makes. That was until I read the review on Stonebridge guitars on the Guitar.co.uk website. They said they were amazed by the sound and build quality for such a reasonable price, so I thought I would try one out. As soon as I played it I new it was the guitar for me.
I could not put it down in the shop and haven't since I brought it home.
Its just so great to play and the build quality is exceptional.
I feel that my playing needs to improve just to show what this guitar can do.
Me and this guitar will be friends forever.
Thanks for a great guitar!!!

Hello Furch People, i just wanted to add my thanks for creating such a lovely sounding instrument. Mine is the D22-CM No.23991 It is understated in looks, but plays perfectly. Thankyou to all the Stonebridge/Furch workers.

I went into a local music shop... just look around and say hi to my friends that work there.

I have been playing guitar for about 26 years now and it is my true passion in life without a doubt.

Recently I have been trying out a lot of different high end acoustic guitars and I have to admit that most of them, I feel, are not worth the money at all. I will be so bold to mention the "Larrivee" and the "Martin" line of acoustic guitars. After trying about 20 or 30 different models of these guitars, I was completely surprised at how "inconsistent" and "thin" a lot of these instruments sounded... Wow! ...??? not too good for that kind of $$$ money at all. !!!

So... today I tried the 22CM model that you make for the first time and...... what did I think?

Well, let me tell you, I am totally impressed with the sound quality of this fine instrument!

I would just like to know one thing please... How can you make an acoustic guitar... of this type of quality... for this kind of money?????

The 22CM is worth its weight in GOLD ...many times over.

I can't wait to play my next show with this incredible guitar, that I shall own for a lifetime!!

Thank-you for building me the best guitar of my life...

Hi,

I'm Dietmar and living in Germany. During my stay in Brno last october I visited your showroom and I bought a F-23 CR guitar. It is a great guitar. The dynamic power of this instrument is unbelievable and want to thank you for this excellant instrument. Everytime when I held this guitar in my hands I really can feel that you love making guitars - I think that is the fact that makes the things going....

To whom it may Concern,

I am writing regarding the stonebridge model i have recently bought, the G .40 .CM .

I was looking for a guitar that would last me my lifetime and was willing to spend up to ?3000.00, I tried all makes and models, but this guitar found me , as soon as I played it I new I had the guitar i dreamt about, I could not put it down, I thought it was way better in all departments than any M or T (very knowny brands! - censored by Furch) i had played worth ?2000.00 and over.

I have been playing and teaching professionally for 17 years now and was wandering wether you have any endorsements available as I cannot see myself wanting to play any other make of acoustic again, so if this is a possibility. and you require any more information regarding my C.V as a pro musician please feel free to get in touch

Yours Faithfully

Hi

My name is Heinz Kempa and I live in Switzerland.
Just a couple years ago in a small music store I happened to stumble over a guitar brand I had never heard of before. I grabbed one of the instruments and immediately fell in love. It was a 12 string guitar. I tried some other Furch's and was paralized.
For months I could not get that 12 string out of my mind so I decided to better buy it before someone else did.
Well, I love it even more. It has such a powerfull but still sweet sound. It just fits my hands perfectly and is easy to play. I play it dropped one whole note.
I took it to another music store to compare it to one of these famous american
T.. Although my S.21.CR.12 had cost me just one third of the price of a T. it could easily keep up with it (it was even better!).
About one year ago I went again to that first music store and guess what happened. To make a long story short I now own an OM.23.SR wich is one of the most beautiful instruments I have ever played.
Never before have I seen a greater concentration of excellent instruments as with Furch!
Both of my Furch's are real eye catchers. The 12 string has a cedar top (wich I prefer with guitars) and th OM has a wonderfully designed spruce top. Last week I got my "Acoustic Guitar Magazine". There I found the proof for what I had claimed for years. Furch builds guitars that can keep up with any expensive instrument.
Thanks for doing such an excellent job.
I am looking forward to meet you in Frankurt in a couple weeks.

Kind regards
Heinz Kempa

Roger,

I would like to congratulate you for importing Stonebridge guitars and mandolins into
North America. The quality of these instruments far exceeds their prices. From the choice
of woods and the finishes to the tone and feel, each instrument that I have sold has been
the highest quality at a price that has tempted everyone who has tried them.

At the Folklore Centre, each guitar we sell must go through an exhaustive inspection by
our repair technician before we put them on our walls. Each Stonebridge has passed our
technician’s bench with highest praise.

I am very happy to be able to sell these instruments.

Sincerely,
Arthur McGregor

Enquiry: Hi Trevor,

As you know I bought a Furch mando (MF21 CM) off you about this time last
year. Having no experience of mando's prior to that I've taken it to a
number of bluegrass sessions, not to mention a few Irish sessions. Every
mando player who has played it has commented on how much they like it. One
very experienced bluegrass mando player has even offered me nearly twice
the money I paid 'and' another mandolin for it. I wouldn't part with it
for any money - not to mention becoming a reasonable player now!
Please pass this comment on to Mr Furch or use it for publicity purposes
if you wish, as your service is second to non! - also please feel free to
pass my email address on to any other Furch owner as I've never come
across anyone else who owns one and it would be interesting to see if they
get the same response?
Cheers Trev,
Mick Dean

hallo sir,
i m Giannis Stilpnopoulos,i live in greece and i own a Furch guitar model
D24sr no 14 799.this guitar is made in 2002 and i bought it from huml music
in Prague in july of 2003.the guitar is super and no problem has occured to
it s sound.the reason i m sending you is that the colour of the top
(spruce)has changed from blond to more orange.is that normal?every guitar
ssems to change colour? does it affect the sound? of course i keep the
guitar out of the sun.notice that the temperature of greece is varies 5 to
40C.
thank you

I have been playing guitar for 35 years, and some months ago bought in Walton's, Dublin,a Furch D20-CM, serial number 20003, dated 19.10.2004.
I just want to tell you to keep up the good work. The guitar is excellent and displays a very high standard of workmanship - it is lightweight, with a truly great playing feel-and what a sound, with a really nice balance between bass, mids and highs.
I have played acoustics costing several times more - believe me, my Furch is as good if not better than any of them.
I am really very happy with this guitar-it's outstanding!
Yet- your products are almost unknown here. Why?

Hallo,

My name is Angelos Economopoulos from Greece..
I recently bought a series 1 D1P Stanford model and I have to say... Congratulations... your guitars are best buy...
Extremely high performance sound, clear as crystal and in my opinion... much better than other acoustic guitars with higher prices...

I'd like to ask you if you could give some directions in how to keep my guitar clean... body, neck, bridge...

I usually use a normal shiner for the top and body and some almond oil to apply on the bridge. That is for my electric guitar... a standard fender strato

I was wondering if the same products apply for my Stanford guitar too...

I have the guitar for about 1 month now and I plan to change the strings so it would be a good chance to apply the almond oil, if you recommend it.

I am looking forward for your reply, thanks for the great guitars and the great work.

hear the instrument...! So thank you!

Hello,

For a few month ago I bought a Furch Jumbo SR25. I must tell you that I am so satisfied so I recently also ordered a a Furch F-mandolin 23. I am looking forward to get it and to play.

I just wonder if you also are producing or planning to produce 12-stringed guitars.

Dear Mr Furch,

Last week I bought one of your Guitars in our local shop, 'The Guitar centre' in Sevenoaks, Kent, UK. It is a Model D1P, serial No. 15928. I have played the guitar on and off ( badly !) for about forty five years, but never had the chance to play one as good as my new Stanford !

I bought it after looking for a few years but never finding what I was looking for - an acoustic with a slightly wider finger board. This is necessary for me as I am 1.92 M tall and have a bunch of bananas on my left arm ! The Stanford at 45mm wide finger board is just right and I am really enjoying playing it and hearing the excellent sound that it produces.

I have been to your web site and read all about your company, staff and products - most impressive and I wish you continued success
Many thanks

wonderful intrument!
I tried many guitars before I decided to buy this one and I must say that to

So.. thank you once again and I hope you keep up the good work

Dear Friends,
A few months before, in February, I bought your Stanford F5M at your shop in Brno. Now I am writing to say thank you for such a beautiful guitar!!!
I have been playing for more than 20 years and so far have had many guitars - mostly acoustic but also resophonoic and electric. Your Stanford is definetely the best of them all. For about ten years I've been playing acoustic blues and fingerstyle and this model is ideal for me. Thank you again.

All the best

Dear Sir
I am a proud owner of two Furch guitars, ( both lefthanded) one S22SR and one G21CR. I really like the guitars but I found out that I would like a guitar with a shorter scale, ( and "thinner" neck) 24,75 or 25. ( 628 & 635 mm ) My hands are really small you know!
Is it possible?

A lefthanded D23 or D24 with a shorter scale would really be perfect for me!
