Furch CNR System
Following more than four years of research and development, we have devised a revolutionary design that increases neck rigidity, stability, and strength while decreasing weight at the same time.
The new Furch CNR System (Composite Neck Reinforcement) incorporates a composite reinforcement, which improves neck durability and extends the lifespan of the guitar as a whole.
The Furch CNR System, which now comes as a standard feature in all our guitars, relies on three key construction elements:
• a casting made of special alloy located inside the neck heel that ensures a stable position of the neck and its angle to the body,
• a high-rigidity carbon casing that maintains the neck in the set position and facilitates a gradual neck bow at the same time,
• a fully adjustable dual-action truss rod for precise neck relief adjustment; the truss rod is placed in a carbon casing filled with silicone to ensure smooth action and to prevent the truss rod from rattling inside the casing.
By combining an innovative design with precision manufacturing, we have achieved previously unheard of stability of the neck joint, which promotes excellent transmission of sound and allows neck relief to be adjusted with high precision along the entire length of the fingerboard. In addition, the new design reduces neck weight. The Furch CNR System is now available in all Furch models with serial number 68,294 and higher.
